Dhivehi Premier League debutants Biss Buru Sports Club will enter the November international break in fifth place, after defeating TC Sports Club this evening.

TC’s relief from last week’s away win at Dhidhdhoo was short-lived, as Biss Buru took a two-goal lead within fifteen minutes of kick-off in the first half. Playing under heavy rain, Biss Buru broke the deadlock in the 11th minute via Ibrahim Atheeg Hassan. On Aremu Timothy Oluwaseun’s cross, Atheeg controlled the ball inside the D-Area and fired instantly.

Biss Buru widened the lead just four minutes later. Capitalizing on a defensive error by TC, Zidhan stole the ball and dribbled it to the edge of the penalty box, from where he curled it into the near post.

Center-half Hassan Eenaz pulled one back for TC in the 65th minute, remaining onside to tap in a cross from a free kick. TC’s attempts at a comeback were nullified by Biss Buru, who went on to secure their third victory of the season.
