Team SDMZ Esports are crowned champions of PUBG mobile at Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest 2025 this evening.

The champion team claimed the highest spot in the Grand Finale leaderboard, having scored 237 points.

The champions SDMZ also had five WWCDs, although runner-ups E2 had six in total.

SDMZ had a dominant 87-points at the end of day 1. By the end of day 2, they were tied with VE E2S TM7 with 149 each. Day 3 saw SDMZ take back the lead and by the end of the final round, SDMZ had solidified their spot at the top of the leaderboard, with a 29 point gap between them and the second-placed VE E2S TM7.

Some remarkable individual performances were delivered this DMGC. The MVP of PUBG tournament, Haisham Waheed (SdmzHAITTEz) had made 49 eliminations and scored 7949 in ‘damage dealt’. Haisham also had a 17.54 average survival rate.

Speaking to Sidibari after the final, Haisham confirmed he is stepping away from competing at LAN events.

The sixteen teams who played at the Grand Finals of DMGC were selected over the course of two qualifiers. The top eight from each qualifying tournament made it to the Grand Finals.

Champions SDMZ were awarded MVR 20,000/- as prize money, while the best player Haisham was awarded a cheque worth 5,000/- alongside the MVP plaque.

With the victory in Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest, team SDMZ, regarded as the greatest PUBG team of all time in Maldives, has now collected eight different championship trophies.
