Maziya Sports and Recreation has defeated Odi SC by 2-0 this evening, in the title-deciding fixture of FAM Women’s League 2025.

The two goals were scored by Maziya’s foreign players, Reka Paudel and Deepa Shaahy.

Coming into the game, Maziya and Odi each had four wins and a draw in their hands.

Although the Women’s League was played at Henveyu Stadium for the most part, the final fixture took place at Galolhu Stadium.

Following her exceptional performance throughout the league, Maziya’s Nepali striker,  Rekha Poudel, was awarded the best foreign player award.

The top scorer award was given to Victory’s Rustullaeva Leyla. The Uzbek striker had scored nine goals in five games for Victory. Her teammate, 19-year-old Shaha Shareef, earned the best U21 player award.

The ‘Best Maldivian player’ was awarded to Fathmath Shaliya of Odi Sports Club. The Fair Play Team award went to Bissburu SC.
