South Asian Senior Athletics Championships: Maldives win bronze at the women’s 4×100 relay

The Maldives women’s national athletics team has won a bronze medal at the 4 x 100m relay race at the ongoing fourth South Asian (SAFF) Senior Athletics Championships 2025 in Jharkhand, India.

The five-team event saw Sri Lankan team finish the race first yesterday, clocking 44.70 seconds. While team India finished in a close second place with 44.93 seconds, team Maldives finished third with 47.79 seconds on the clock.

The Maldives team comprised of Ziva Moosa Shafeeu, Ahna Nizaar, Shaba Saleem, and Hawwa Muzna Faiz.

Team Bangladesh finished the race in 48.21 seconds, while the Nepalese were the ones to finish last with 50.17 seconds.
