Four players from Revival SC have flown to Africa to compete in two BWF international tournaments.
Nibal Ahmed, Zayan Zaki, Aminath Nabeeha and Fathimath Nabaaha will represent Maldives as they take part in the Zambia International and Botswana International, two of Badminton World Federation’s Circuit Tournaments. The team will be accompanied by head coach Nashfan Mohamed.
The four players will take part in the singles events, the double events and mixed doubles events. Nibal and Nabeeha will team up on mixed doubles, and Nabaha and Zayan will be the other pair.
The badminton nationals have departed this morning. Revival SC had thanked the Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, United Victory’s badminton team and the badminton community for the support in the endeavor.
Zambia Internationsl will be held from this Thursday till next Sunday, and the Botswana International will start on the 21st of this November and end on the 24th.
