Victory for Vaanuva Queens, STELCO grabs first win

The women’s division of Dhiffushi Council Cup kicked off this evening; the first of three games played in succession.

Vaanuva Queens took the three points after crushing Victory Vipers with six goals to one. Shaaliya of Vaanuva Queens claimed the POTM.

The two games that followed were of men’s division:

Ibrahim Aswad (Gabey) won the Man of the match award as STELCO RC won 8-1 in tonight’s game against Vaanuva Juniors, after losing last night’s opening game to the latter’s superiors.

Seven Star made their first appearance in tonight’s final game against Eight-to-Nine, they won the game by 5-1.
