Victory Sports Club has extended their unbeaten run to four games, as newly signed striker Milos Lacny from Slovakia shines yet again.
Lacny was involved in three goals in yesterday evening’s game, scoring two and assisting one. He scored two goals before half-time. Lacny opened the scoring earlier via a pass from Abdhullah Midhuhath Fahmy on the counter.
The right full-back Ali Shamis had scored the second goal of the day fot Victory in the 25th minute, before Lacny made it 3-0 from the penalty spot. Lacny himself was fouled by a Green defender, which earned Victory the penalty.
Green Streets were unable to seal the goal in the second half as well, as Abdhullah Midhuhath Fahmy scored in the 49th minute.
Green managed to open Victory’s goal in the 77th minute – score a consolation goal by captain Rilwan Waheed.
With nineteen points in total, Victory SC have shown that they have significantly improved their performance in the past four game weeks. They are unbeaten in four games, winning all three since the mid-season break.
Victory’s recalibrated attacking is another sign of improvement – eleven of the sixteen goals they scored in this season came from just the past four games.
Now just one point below New Radiant SC and Buru SC, both of whom have 20 points.
The twelfth week will wrap up with a battle to hold onto the top four, as Buru and New face each other in this evening’s match.
