Mohamed Fasir, the AYL prodigy from Eydhafushi, has returned to Dhivehi Premier League as the latest signing for New Radiant Sports Club.
The older brother of Ali Fasir is set to play for a top flight club for the first time in fifteen years, as he join forces in New Radiant’s forward line for the rest of the season.
This would not be the first time the two brothers teamed up for a first-division club; Faatte and his younger brother have played together for All Youth Linkage and for Club Eagles back in the early days of Sentey’s career.
The last time Faatte made an appearance at Galolhu Stadium was to represent his home island in the final of the Ninety-Plus Gold Cup, on 25th December 2024.
A powerful header by Fasir broke the deadlock early in the Gold Cup final against Addu CityThe Eydhafushi captain went on to win the player of the tournament.
Mohamed Fasir joins a bloated up line up of attackers for the Blues; including the newly loaned in captain of Club Eagles – Ahmed Rizvan.
New Radiant remains in third place behind Maziya and Odi as the DPL went into mid-season break.
