Addu Motor Sport community braces for ‘Emmenge Drag 2025’

Motor racing athletes have gathered in Hulhumeedhoo for the 2nd Edition of ‘Emmenge Drag Championship’.

The racing tournament is being organized by the Addu Motor Sport Association (AMSA). The two-day event starts this Sunday morning and will end in Monday evening. The 2nd Emmenge Drag is the third event of its kind organized by AMSA.

This year’s Emmenge Drag features 57 racing athletes across seven motorcycle categories and 3 categories for cars. This year’s event is hosted in collaboration with the Hulhumeedhoo Council, just as last year’s races were coordinated with the Hulhudhoo Council.

Addu Motor Sports Association’s event coordinator Wahidh Haneef stated that the racing championship aims to promote a socially accepted racing community in Addu and beyond and to make AMSA a widely recognized sporting association among the public.
