Club Eagles climbs to the top of Dhivehi Premier League table, after last night’s 3-0 win over TC Sports Club.

Eagles made the most of their attacking opportunities to secure a comfortable victory, with Van-Dave Gbowea Harmon scoring in both the first and second halves.

Both sides were equally challenged throughout the game, but Eagles proved more effective in attack, creating more opportunities in front of TC goal.

Van-Dave headed in the opener from a free kick just before half-time to give Eagles the lead.

Just the one goal separated the two sides up until the 80th minute, when Marko Ivanovic headed in from another free kick.

Van-Dave added a second goal to his name, tapping in a cross from Ivanovic following a corner kick. Van Dave was subsequently named man of the match.

The victory takes Eagles to nine points from three matches. Victory and New Radiant sit second and third, respectively, with seven points each from three games.

TC Sports, meanwhile, remain eighth with just one win from their opening three matches.
