TC Sports Club has earned a crucial three points in Tuesday’s game against Dhidhdhoo Sports.

A first-half stoppage-time strike by Jose Magson made the difference, as the hosts Dhidhdhoo were defeated at home for the first time this season.

A first half that saw most of the attacking from the home side culminated with a blunder from one of their defenders. Magson broke away from the high defensive line upon receiving the ball, driving it all the way into the penalty area before finishing it off.

The only other decent chance TC got in the first half was a free-kick from Mahmoud Ashraf, which dipped right behind the crossbar.

TC managed to hold on to the narrow lead throughout the second half, thwarting the attacks from a fierce Dhidhdhoo, backed by a rowdy home crowd.

This win takes TC to seventh place up from ninth, as they overtake both Dhidhdhoo and Buru Sports Club.
