Odi Sports have kept their winning streak alive with a narrow win over Victory SC tonight.

In a repeat of the score line from the last Second Division final, Odi Sports claimed the three points against Victory with three goals to two.

Two of the three goals of Odi were scored by the Lithuanian, Karolis Laukzemis, one in each half. The first of Lauzkemis’ goals came from the penalty spot, after Muzdhan was pulled down inside the area.

It remained 1-0 until the 72nd minute, when Nashaah equalized for Victory from inside the penalty area, assisted by Shamis.

Late drama unfolded as Odi right winger Aiham delivered two assists with the same technique; low cutbacks from the byline. Aiham’s first assist was finished off by Laukzemis in the 78th minute. The second one found Ahuzam Rasheed, who was unguarded.

It took just two minutes for Victory to narrow the lead, with a perfectly struck bicycle kick by Hussain Niyaz Mohamed.

Both teams found great chances to change the score in the stoppage time, but not enough attacks for Victory to find the needed equalizer.

Odi remain one of the three teams to win all three games played thus far, alongside Maziya and New Radiant.
