Dhivehi Sifainge club has secured the national volleyball championship with a dominant three-set win in the final against HDC last night.
The national championship final match took place at Maafannu Social Centre last night, and DSC defeated HDC with the score line 21-25, 14,25, and 24,26.
Winning the national championship, DSC secures the third gold medal this year. They had previously won the MILO VAM Cup 2025 and the national league that followed.
This is also the third year-in-a-row that Dhivehi Sifainge Club won the national championship, writing their name on the trophy for the fifth time. Since 2023, DSC has won every championship final by defeating its archrival, HDC.
The three best players of the championship are Hussain Razaan (DSC), Hussain Shahid (DSC) and Ismail Sajid (HDC). Sifainge Club coach Junaid Abdhullah was awarded the best coach of the championship.
