Dhiffushi Council Futsal Fiesta has reached the finals.
In the women’s division, Vaanuva Queens managed to hold back kicking Queens with a 2-2 draw, with Shaliya taking the POTM yet again.
The result of last night confirmed that Victory Vipers will play Vaanuva Queens in the final tonight.
In the men’s semifinals the first game saw a comeback in the final moments; Seven Star had kept the lead up until the very last seconds of the game, when Ali Hafiz completed his hat-trick by equalizing for Stelco.
The resulting penalty shootout saw two saves in a row from Stelco’s Goalkeeper Ahsan Ahmed Shiar, who took home the POTM award. Ahsan had made six saves earlier in the game.
The unbeaten run of Vaanuva FT continues to the final day, as they comfortably win the semifinal game against Sathora by 8-1. Zain Zafar scored four of the eight goals, winning the POTM.
