The women’s division of Dhiffushi Futsal Fiesta last night saw Victory Vipers bounce back from their initial defeat with a 3-0 win over Kicking Queens.. The Vipers’ Aishath Laiba Zahir was awarded player of the match.
Seven Star owned last night’s second game as they continue their winning streak with a 4-2 win over Sathora.
In the third game, played late into last night, Vaanuva FT knocked out their subordinate Vaanuva Juniors by 12-7. Captain Adam Shafeeu won the POTM, having scored four goals.
With that, the men’s group stage games of Dhiffushi Council Futsal Fiesta has come to an end.
The women’s game scheduled for tonight – Vaanuva Queens versus Kicking Queens – will decide who plays whom in the final tomorrow night.
Men’s semifinals will kick-off later tonight: Vaanuva FT v Sathora, and Seven Star v Stelco.
