Kaafu Dhiffushi Council Futsal Fiesta 2024 has kicked off last night.
The event began with a colorful ceremony, with both men’s and women’s divisions to be played at the same time; six clubs in the men’s division and three clubs to compete in women’s.
The men’s division is separated into two groups. Sathora won the opening game 2-1 against Eight-To-Nine, with Mohamed Faalil taking home the MOTM.
Second game saw STELCO face off against Vaanuva FT, with the latter claiming victory by 4-2. Vaanuva FT’s Zain Zafar was awarded MOTM.
Three games are scheduled for tonight, with the opening game of women’s division; Vaanuva Queens against Victory Vipers.
Men’s games for the night will start afterwards; STELCO will play their second game of the fiesta against Vaanuva Juniors, followed by Eight-to-Nine against Seven Star.
Semifinal of the men’s division will be played this Thursday night. Both the finals are scheduled for Friday night.
