Maziya Sports and Recreation has defeated TC Sports 3-0 in tonight’s game of the Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League.
Maziya’s foreign player Sergio headed in the opener in the eighth minute, with assistance from a long cross by Hamza from the left wing.
The Green Boys scored a second goal just before half-time. Another assist by Hamza – a low cross from the left flank – had found an unmarked Hassan Nazeem at the back post. This was Hamza’s fourth assist in two games.

The final goal came in the 87th minute. Nassah Ibrahim dribbled past a defender on the right wing, and rolled it to Ilan Imran, who fired it in from close range. The two teenagers came on as substitutes in the second half.
The defending champions Maziya started this round of fixtures on the back of a big win against Eagles in the opening match. They are now on top of the table, with six points and a seven-goal advantage.
