Reigning champions TC Sports Club has qualified for the semifinals as the Group B winners of the FAM U19 Youth Championship 2025.
Group B matches ended tonight as TC Sports Club continued their undefeated run, thrashing Victory SC with 6 goals to 1. Iyaz Ahmed and Ali Aiham starred for TC Sports tonight. Iyaz scored an impressive first-half hat trick, with just 18 minutes between his first and third goals. His teammate Ali Aiham delivered a hat-trick of assists before half-time and got his name on the scoresheet.
Earlier today, Odi Sports Club impressed yet again with a commanding 4-0 victory over Super United Sports. Odi Sports have kept a clean sheet for two games in a row. Despite losing the group’s top spot to TC Sports Club, Odi Sports Club have ended the group stage undefeated.
Odi Sports Club also boasts the record for joint-lowest goals conceded in the championship. Both Odi SC and Club Valencia of Group A have each conceded just one goal in three games, the latter having one game left to play.
With tonight’s defeat against TC Sports Club, Victory SC exits the Championship without a single point. TC Sports winning tonight’s game means Super United Sports have also been eliminated after one win and two defeats in three games.
TC Sports Club and Odi Sports advance to the knockout stage each having earned five points. Tonight’s big win however widens TC Sports’ advantage to +7 goals, compared to the +6 goal advantage of Odi Sports. Just one goal’s difference therefore separated the final standings of Group B.
