Indian U16 National Basketball teams have won gold medals in both girls’ and boys’ tournaments at the SABA Qualifiers 2025.

India defeated Sri Lanka by 94-62 in the boys’ final tonight. India were the leading side throughout the four quarters.

India wins the qualifiers without a single defeat. With tonight’s win, India has successfully defended the SABA slot at the FIBA Asia Cup. They previously qualified for the 2023 FIBA Asia Cup after winning the qualifiers against Maldives and Sri Lanka.

The U16 girls’ final of the SABA Qualifiers, played this evening, saw India defeat Sri Lanka.
