Mohamed Nahyan has won the title of Mister Maldives 2024. He had previously won silver in the middleweight category at 2017 Mr. Maldives.
This is the first time Nahyan has achieved the title. He won it competing against Shaaheen Ibrahim Didi at the The 22nd National BodyBuilding and Sports Physique Championship, held last night at Dharubaaruge.
Nahyan had been the number one at the 85-kilogram category of the championship.
Nahyan, the man who won gold medal in the 75-kilogram category at this year’s South Asian Bodybuilding Championship, had also won bronze at the 170 centimetre Athletic Physique category in the Mr. Maldives 2021.
Mohamed Yaameen, who won the Mister Maldives title in the previous three years, had not participated this time.
The Athletic Physique champion of this year was awarded to Abdhullah Ahsan, who had also won it in the 175 Centimetres category.
The winner in the 170 CM category was Mohamed Fazleen.
Bodybuilding 65 kilogram category’s winner was awarded to Manaaf Waheed. Shaaheen Ibrahim achieved the winner’s title in Bodybuilding Masters 40-years-and-above open category.
In the Junior Sports Physique open category, Hussain Raahil Sadiq claimed the winner, while Yoosuf Ayan Rizween won the gold medal in Junior Open category.
The team championship award of this year’s Mister Maldives was awarded to Dhivehi Sifainge Club.
